Bill Smith likes to paint where he travels. He calls his paintings ‘”escapes”. Bill retired from the corporate world in 2005, and had never painted, but took beginner classes with Rob Vander Zee.
Bill says, “that painting uses a different part of the brain from the corporate grind”, and thoroughly enjoys his new friends and fellow artists in the art world. They carry him on their backs!!
Bill sells all his paintings for charity causes, with CARE being the number 1 recipient.
