Washington, DC artist, Scott Wiskoski’s paintings are lush, richly colored, and evocative of a past no longer firmly held.Scott began painting and drawing as a child. Since then, she has studied painting, drawing, sumie (Japanese brush painting), ceramics, and other art forms. She has been painting seriously since 2004 and is currently with the VanderZee Gallery Painters in Alexandria, VA.
Scott was a management consultant for many years and before that a Navy officer. These experiences exposed her to the many different geographies and cultures, including those of Japan, France, and South America, that influence her work today. She is originally from Bennington, Vermont.
She earned a BA from Skidmore College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Her work is held in private collections.
